 The value of the penalty is deducted from the financial compensation received by each club participating in the Club World Cup.
 Al-Ahly reached the semi-finals of the Club World Cup for the sixth time in its history and the fourth in a row, out of 9 participations in the tournament.
 The winner of the Al-Ahly match against Fluminense will meet the winner of the match between Manchester City and Urawa Red of Japan in the final of the tournament.
